ArtWorks is a program of the MassHire Cape & Islands Workforce Board (CIWB). The program is embarking on its 26th year, while continuing to provide students in grades 9-12 with the unique opportunity to explore the creative economy through hands-on learning. During the academic year, students will have the opportunity to mentor with a local artist that expresses a true passion for their own artistic medium(s). Each dedicated and talented artist plays the role of a mentor throughout their guided instruction.
Currently, we are continuing to offer in-person, virtual and hybrid models for this year’s program. As a new component to this year’s program, we are also offering group classes. These classes include a cohort of students and will be facilitated by a local artist.
