Residential Construction Career Day (RCCD) is an annual event that is a collaboration between the MassHire Cape & Islands Workforce Board and the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to high school students, career and guidance counselors, educators and administrators about the opportunities for careers on Cape Cod within the construction industry. Students are provided with hands-on learning opportunities, as well as the option to speak with industry professionals regarding future employment/internship prospects, job shadow and informational interview opportunities. RCCD assists students with envisioning a career pathway within this prominent Cape Cod industry. The support our community and school partners lends yearly is instrumental in the success of this event.
