FREE training is available for eligible individuals whose skills are no longer in demand. We pay up to $10,000 towards training.
If you are unemployed or underemployed and can’t find a job using your current skills, you may be eligible for free training.

The MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center has developed a series of integrated workshops to help you overcome these difficulties. The key is knowing how to introduce and promote yourself so that you stand out from other job seekers.
The Career Center also offers individualized services to help you meet your career goals.
VETERAN SERVICES
The MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center offers an array of employment and training services to eligible veterans and eligible spouses of veterans.
Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program Specialists (DVOPS) develop job and training opportunities for veterans, with special emphasis on veterans with service-connected disabilities.
DISABILITY SERVICES
Services for those with disabilities are available at the MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center. Their Resource Room is equipped with several assistive computer programs.
They also provide services to employers, such as providing technical assistance to employers with employees in need of services or accommodations.
